We have been requested by CITB to pass on the following information.

Two members of the CITB executive ( and possibly our Scottish board member also,) will be coming to Inverness next week on 25^th July , the purpose is to meet with employers who will be impacted by the changes taking place within Inverness College provision for apprentice training.  Timing will be circa 10am at a central venue with parking.

This is to identify those who would want to attend, we appreciate this is short notice but want to give as many people the option to attend. Perhaps if some members from outwith Inverness cannot attend they may want to submit a written version of their views /concerns that could be collated and shared with the visitors by one of the group members at the meeting.

Following the success of the previous Approved Training Organisation workshops we have run in Scotland, we are proposing to organise more ATO support sessions, for our registered Commercial and Employer ATO’s.

If you feel your company would benefit from 121 support from an ATO system specialist, and the opportunity to network with other ATO’s, please let us know by return.

Dependant on the numbers wishing to attend, and, taking into account the geography of Scotland, we will aim to plan the workshops in a location to suit the highest demand.  Should there be requirement to organise more than one event, for example, sufficient interest in the far North of Scotland and Central belt, we will endeavour to organise 2 workshops to give everyone the opportunity to benefit from face to face engagement with our Training Model Team and members of our Partnerships Team.

Dates are yet to be confirmed, but to avoid clashing with the traditional summer holiday period, likely to be mid to late August.

Once we have captured interest in replicating the previous workshops, we will then be in a position to confirm venues and timings to all interested parties.
