  • Construction Skills Certifiction Scheme – CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents
  • CPCS – Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) – a card scheme to prove the skills of plant operators. CPCS is the largest and most highly recognised card scheme for the plant industry.

  • Scottish Construction Centre – The Scottish Construction Centre is an initiative driven by the real needs of the Scottish construction sector. The SCC aims to engage with the industry to develop and deliver knowledge transfer in ways that the industry understands in order to encourage best practice, improve research and innovation, and increase communication and development across the sector resulting in innovative construction excellence.

  • Scottish Qualifications Authority – SQA is an executive non-departmental public body (NDPB) sponsored by the Scottish Government Schools Directorate. It is the national body in Scotland responsible for the development, accreditation, assessment and certification of qualifications other than degrees.
