Terms and Conditions

General

It is the responsibility of the person booking a course to ensure that they enrol in the correct course, and that the delegate has the required ability, aptitude, and experience necessary to benefit from the course. 

Unfortunately, courses must occasionally be cancelled due to insufficient bookings, and we strive to avoid such occurrences. 

To guarantee the advertised price, members must be registered with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). All new members must provide their CITB registration number if applicable, 

An annual general meeting is held in the spring every year and attendance from member companies is appreciated. 

Membership fees are £50 per annum and must be paid within 30 days in line with standard payment terms. Failure to pay promptly may result in removal from the member list and no longer benefiting from reduced rate courses.

Financial and Payment Terms

Payment for all training must be provided in accordance with standard payment terms of 30 days. Failure to pay an invoice in full will result in membership being withdrawn, and certificates, scheme cards, and other associated material will not be issued until such payment is received. 

To ensure payment is received in a timely fashion, GTO (Group  Training Officer) will send reminder letters at 30, 60 and 90 day periods, after which action may be taken under the Late Payment of Commercial Debt Regulations 2013. 

Cancellation of course bookings must also be provided with sufficient notice, with charges incurred depending on the notice period given; more than 14 days notice results in no charge, 13 to 8 days notice results in a fee of 50% of the cost, and less than 7 days notice results in the full cost of the course being charged.
